There is something about power that corrupts people, and I have known far too many people who have been abused by those in power. Religious leaders are particularly heinous, because they preach one thing but do the opposite … and too often, they get away with it.

I was also wondering about dementia. He didn’t try to hide this, he did it in front of a whole lot of people.

I was wondering if it was a cultural thing. Some cultural traditions are discussing to other cultures. Just wanted to add that I find it’s disgusting when adults kiss kids on a lips but it seems common in US
Sticking out one’s tongue and having another person suck it are very different. We need to stop making excuses for his behavior.

I don’t care one way or another and don’t make excuses for anyone but cultural customs are different and make it difficult to judge. Again, I don’t care and kissing child on a lips is disgusting as well
