NROTC chances

My gpa is a 3.4 and my sat double scores are a 1300. I have done varisty swimming and probably will be captain this year.

I have over 100 hours of volunteer work and work experiance as a counselor. Leadership played a big role in my life with my job and volunteer work. Also, with swimming and martial arts. I am also close with people from West Point and my local Senator.

What would you say my chances are for the NROTC schlarship? or even the Naval academy?

NROTC- Good chances. FYI, if you’re considering the Marine Option, you will do a full PFT at your interview, so wear a suit and bring gym clothes in a bag.

Annapolis- Need more info. They want to see calculus and chemistry on transcripts. The first hurdle is the nomination interview. WEAR A SUIT! I had no idea what I was walking into at that interview, many moons ago.
