<p>How important is this topic. My class has never even touched upon this topic. I am talking about Chapter 14 in PR. It says there are about 5 question on it. WHat are the main point and equations I should know?</p>
<p>Just know what beta and alpha particles are and understand the conservation of mass and charge. Learn the vocab related to nuclear and do a few practice problems, and you’ll be fine. As long as you’re careful, they’re the easiest questions on the exam.</p>
<p>Know what half-life means and be able to answer simple questions that require understanding of the concept.</p>
<p>dont worry, nuclear decay isn’t too bad. its basically balancing 2 sides of an equation.</p>
