<p>I plan to attend UF next year, and was interested in majoring in engineering then going on to medical school. I though bme would be the best option, however UF does not have that as a major. So would nuclear engineering be a good replacement? By the way I want to go into radiology.</p>
<p>I think it depends on what you want to do and what courses you can take about biological radiation effects. If you want to design machinery, I would think yes, a degree in NE would be the way to go. If you want to become more of a technician, then maybe not and the pre-med may be the way to go.</p>
