number of courses for second term senior yr

How many do you guys have?? I have 11 periods!! which is quite sad since this will be the most ever in my high school career.

1.Japanese III
2.Sci Fi and Fantasy (English)
3.Computer Graphics Programming
4.Precal
5.Calculus AB
6+7Acrylic Painting (double period)
8.American Government
9.AP Environmental Science
10.Lunch

College course on Artificial Intelligence.

Anyone like me? trying to take advantege of all their high school has to offer or are you all just bumming around with like 5 classes?

thats dum to have precalc and calc in the same semester...makes no sense. also lunch doesnt count as a period. you also have lots of easy classes.(sci fi, comp, acrylic, envi) so you really only have like 4-5 challenging periods

how does lunch not take up a period? o_0 Last time I knew, my school had 10 periods and lunch occupied one of them. So I do have a full schedule + 1 class.

Actually I'm doing fairly well in Precal and Calculus. Calculus barely requires anything in Precal, and when doubling on, the pair Precal and Calc is encouraged.

So....How is Computer Graphics Programming easy? It's not photoshop, kiddo. It's the highest level of CS courses at my school. it goes AP Comp Sci, Systems Programming (in C) and then Computer Graphics Programming.

Acrylic Painting is a selective for a 10tech that my school requires. I just liked it cuz I wanted more art classes and I wanted a canvas painting in my dorm.

Sci Fi is English. English is a standard class.

Have you ever taken AP Environmental?

Well, you say 11 like 11 courses so lunch isn't something necessary to include but w/e.

I mean computer graphics is easy in the fact that you don't have to have like homework or stuff to take home. It's done in class.

I wasn't sure what sci fi was but ok if it's your regular english class.

And no I haven't had Ap Env. but my friend said it was the easiest class he's had.

I have 7 classes. Full IB diploma and TOK. But in no way am I slacking off. Its hard as hell.

i'll have six this semester, and i'm full ib. and it's not easy..even though two of my classes are skiing and health haha

I took Computer Graphics. It was h377 for me. I had to take a quiz on it. o_O;;;; Blah I shouldn't have taken that course. 7 periods for me. x] Block sheduling.

what kinda skool do u ppl goto?

I go to an international school.

for second semester i have four classes i think out of 8.....

ap stats
ap psych
ap env sci
hon. short fiction

hon. sci research

thought so

We only get 4 classes in the schedule per semester, but I have 7 because of music and IB. I finished two SL courses last year (Math Methods and Biology). TOK is taken twice a week during one of our HL subject periods.

English A1 HL
French A2 SL
Chemistry HL
History of Europe HL in French
TOK
Band AM (1st flute)
Choir AM (soprano)

I finished an HL course (physics) and two SL courses (french and chem) last year, and now I am taking (still first semester)

World Lit HL
TOK
Biology HL
Economics HL

and math at the U of MN.

I've also been doing all of the portfolios for Math HL, since I didn't take IB math.

My school has block scheduling (four classes each semester) so I'm just taking AP English and Gov, Creative Writing, and a video class. At my school four AP classes would be considered a full schedule so I guess I'm a half bum.

Lets March On Washington

My school only has seven periods, and I'm taking six classes this year. With our modified block scheduling, that works out to three 90-minute classes per day. :)

We can only take up to 6 courses each year.

Umm, how many hows a day do you guys stay in school? (I go to crappy public high school with only 6hours of classes)

I only have 5.3 hours of classes per day, a fifty minute lunch

Do you have like 11 classes as all the others do?
