Has anyone heard back yet for nursing…and would u mind posting stats? Also, are RD nursing applicants given their admissions decisions the same time as all other applicants? I know some schools release decisions earier for nursing applicants since the major can fill up quickly
I read from a website that one year in the past, Penn nursing applicants got their decisions earlier around the end of February (I think) because many other nursing schools release their decisions earlier and Penn didn’t want to be at a “competitive disadvantage” because of that. I’m not positive, but I bet if they were to tell nursing applicants sooner, they’d send you an email about it or something.
Thank you so much @stars987… a decision in late February would be great, so I’ll keep my fingers crossed and make sure to keep checking my inbox!
and best of luck wherever you applied!
Thanks! For some reason I can’t find the article where I found the information before, so don’t count on the February thing too much, because I would hate for you to get your hopes up and then have to wait till regular decision.
Hopefully you’ll make Penn Nursing and we could be there together!
Don’t worry about it and thanks so much !!! Sounds great
Did u apply for the nursing school as well @stars987
Or one of Penn’s other colleges?
Yeah, I applied to the nursing school!
Best of luck @stars987 Hope to see each other there
Typically decisions are announced by the end of February and the Nursing Preview weekend for admitted students is in early April
@ShanghaiMom, great! Thanks so much for letting me know
Did anyone else go to Penn and get an interview with Marriam Smith?
I live in NY so I wouldn’t get an interview at Penn but havent been contacted by an alumni representative in my area either, though Penn sent an email saying that they are based on availability of local interviewers
So we should expect an email either way by late February @ShanghaiMom?? So much misinformation lol
