How was it doing clinicals as a freshman?
Can you balance academics and social life? What about sports or another minor?
My daughter is a first year nursing student - absolutely loves it.
Unfortunately, the academics got away from her and she had to drop Anatomy.
She has to make it up next fall, so she cannot resume clinicals until next Spring.
Case’s nursing program is very supportive, so she does not feel deterred.
She is a dance minor and is on the dance team.
She chalks up her experience to being on her own and tackling time management.
My son has two friends in the nursing program, a senior and a sophomore. Both have had really good experiences. One is a member of a sorority, has a good summer internship in upstate NY, and comes back early for special training over Winter Break. The other student, the senior, has job offer already in the Seattle area. Both girls have been happy with the classes and practical training.
