I am a second year community college student in California and was on track to transfer as a biology major. However, my interests changed.. and decided that I wanted to become a nurse. My dream school has always been UCLA...but I found out that their nursing program is VERY competitive. Currently, i have a 3.7 GPA..My question is..What options do I have if I want to transfer to a BSN program in the Los angeles/orange county area?? My biggest fear is that I wont get accepted into either UCLA or UC Irvine (which are the only two UC's with a BSN program)..and I will have no other places to apply to because the major courses required are completely different.. your thoughts would be GREATLY appreciated!! thanks!

Many people have said that nursing programs in California are unusually competitive. Maybe you should consider also submitting some applications in other states.
