<p>Does anyone know how good the NUS Economics dept. is e.g. how it ranks among other economics departments around the world and in asia?</p>
<p>Not very good at all. In fact, i would say NUS Economics is one of its weaker dept in terms of faculty and students. Completely overshadowed by medicine, law, engineering. If you're considering singapore, I'd rather go with SMU. And of course, the strongest economic schools would be Chicago, LSE, NWU and such.</p>
