<p>Wikipedia seems to indicate that it's supported on Vista (except for Home Basic and Starter), Server 2003, Server 2008, XP Pro x64 and XP Pro 32-bit.</p>

<p>We had a rather bad experience with IIS many years ago and I've since avoided it like the plague. It appears that Version 7 (Vista) removes the monolithic architecture. My most common platform is XP and I think that I would want to avoid the overhead of the earlier versions that support XP.</p>

<p>Yeah, I never said IIS was good. Since Apple just piggybacks on open source for their lower level software, their FTP server is probably going to be a lot better than IIS.</p>
