NY Times: For Boarding Schools, an Evolving Financial Aid Philosophy

<p>I wouldn’t confuse good school district with good education. </p>

<p>Living in one of the nations’s top school districts, I would never confuse the two. I have friends who have means but could not afford the real estate in our area. Everyone struggles with how to provide their child the best opportunity. Some people stretch to purchase a house in this area and then have little left for other opportunities like sports or EC’s. As a parent, I would like to launch my child into adulthood with the best preparation I can provide. This means different things to different families. All families have to make choices about where best to spend their monetary resources.</p>
