Don't go promoting MU too much. I want to make sure my D gets in...

daaaaad-
UR too funny. Actually, I am kind of thinking the same thing ("what am I doing building up Miami, making it more competitive?"). Several of my college friends and I already lament that were we to apply today, we might not get accepted.
Okay, I'll lay off and maybe if we make no sudden movements, the thread will just go away and be forgotten :)

Bumping anyway...

I have to say how happy I am with my sons decision to go to Miami. I knew nothing about this school prior to February 2006. My son was scouted for his sport and several schools were interested in him. We all thought he was headed to Boston.
He went up for a visit in the spring and loved it. We visited for the first time in June. I fell in love with it. It reminds me of New England campuses.

He is in the business program there and also the honors program. We recently read how well Miami ranked in their business program. Seventeenth? Not bad!

Just thought I'd give my two cents.
