@YoungOne4 D has that sentence under Access Your Admissions Decision page and the Application Status page but not sure if it’s new.
Someone called the admissions and they said they’re releasing decisions today at four. Check the other thread.
Someone on the other thread said that he called admissions and they said decisions come out at 4PM EST!!
For those that don’t have it, I can only see that different decision page if I access the portal through the link NYU sent in an email last week. If I regularly go through Albert, it isn’t different. See if that helps!

If indeed decisions roll out today (blessed relief), or if they roll out in the coming days, I want to wish everyone on this string the best of luck in your college adventures. I think the person on the other thread is lying b/c he is a super new member & I’ve seen people randomly pop in say decisions are coming and that they have a 1600, 35 and other stellar stats/ec and that he got deferred.
On Albert, it says that "Admission Decision Release
We expect that all first-year admission decisions will be released on your Application Status page on December 15th after 5pm Eastern Standard Time for Early Decision I candidates, on February 15 after 5pm for Early Decision II candidates, and April 1 after 5pm for Regular Decision candidates. "
As the dates for ED1 and ED2 were the dates that admission decisions were actually released, should we not expect that April 1st is the day?
That just might be the case.
@chrys1 Only thing here is that April 1st is Easter Sunday. So, one would think that it will come before then.
I just really hate it that NYU doesn’t have a clear date and time when decisions are coming out, like so many other schools. Like “before or on april 1st”, c’mon…
