What’s the difference between the two econ programs? I see how Stern as a school might be more prestigious but is CAS Econ equally as good or respected?
There isn’t a straight “Econ” major at stern. Only an Business Econ and Econ Theory major. Short answer, while CAS Econ is definitely not a bad place to be studying Econ, its not even close to as good for job prospects as a student majoring in anything at Stern.
