has anyone tried clicking on “profile” on the home.nyu.edu page? does anyone have this message?
“You do not yet have a Profile in NYU Home, but don’t worry, you will soon. You’re probably seeing this because you’re an incoming student who’s using NYU Home or an Alumni. We do not load profiles for students until they are matriculated. In case of Alumni, please continue to use Alumni information system (Advance). In the meantime, any NYU community member, like yourself, can use the Services and People tabs of NYU Home. If you’re not an incoming student or an Alumni, then you may be receiving this message in error. Please contact the NYU IT Service Desk.”
Honestly, as much as we wish there’s some type of early indicator of acceptance or rejection, the only one that has been consistent is the housing change that occurs the day of decisions. Nyu emails, access to websites on albert, and financial aid changes have no definitive correlation to results. We’ll just have to wait until next Friday
@misingthebeach yes my D has her private mail even though she was at NYU for the summer college credit program, and her NYU mail was assigned to her last February. Her status says “Non-NYU student” for the moment.
Another person in my school applied ED, and he wrote the worst essay possible, he didn’t even care about getting in. And he got an email too. so don’t worry too much
housing.nyu.edu … can access but definitely different than before. had email and DOB, now they got rid of both and added in an application tab. Still classified as non renewable undergrad. from CT
