hey guys i was accepted ed2 to mcc in steinhardt last year to class of 2021 (im currently on a gap year) so ill be joining 2022. i followed the thread religiously last year and just wanted to reach out.
NONE of the FA or housing changes happened to me and i tried my best to not check on it which was honestly a really good idea. i was rejected by many colleges that aren’t considered as prestigous or good as nyu so college decisions are kinda random and is about finding ur fit(stop worrying!!!) anyways, the time is almost here!! good luck to you all and hope to see some of u in the fall!
Just checked the housing portal and when I click “NYU Housing Application,” it takes a while to load before saying, “Error invalid user.” Please tell me I’m not the only one with this and that the system is glitching again.

Where is the housing portal on Albert? I only see the visiting student tab, financial aid tab, and the application status. Nothing about housing??

So I didn’t get a financial aid change, but I called NYU and they told me that I messed my FAFSA up, and though I corrected the mistake, they just haven’t received the corrected version, so if you guys haven’t received a FA change (though it probably doesn’t signify anything) it could be because something with your FAFSA or CSS profile is wrong. They told me that there is a chance that I was accepted, but that I won’t be able to see my financial aid package tomorrow, just an acceptance letter or … the other kind.
Guys! I doubt the FA change is true. I got a mail from NYU a few days ago regarding my incomplete FAFSA but then I had to tell them that I’m an international student and so I don’t use FAFSA but the CSS.
