anyone know anything about financial aid? like how to know what we got? thanks

@cinecall
I did! We go into Tisch after one year of LSP :)

@sfxchris cool. same here. what program did u originally chose?

anybody didn’t get an email?

I received a rejection email this morning but there were no changes on the portal, so does there occur any change on the portal only for accepted students or for rejected students too?

Accepted into CAS!! but still no email

I got accepted into NYU Poly by email, but my Albert account says that they are still reviewing my application, and my FA says “Award access not available.” Most people here seem to be having the opposite problem: no email, but admission decision on Albert. Any advice?

My question was the same, except that I got rejected, so if someone knows the answer please share :)

I applied for Film & TV

I got into tisch as a freshman for film & tv. It doesn’t say liberal studies.

Accepted into Stern! Did anyone apply to the BPE program, but did not get accepted to it? I was wondering if anyone could add some insight to this matter.

I didn’t experience this no-email phenomena but a bunch of my friends did! They received their emails a little belatedly so don’t worry guys! There is still time for the email to come. NYU also states that some people will not receive emails on time and will have to call on Monday. Congrats! I’m so excited to meet you guys! And also, join our NYU class of 2018 group on FB and introduce yourselves!

Accepted into NYU 7 year dental program!!!

@lyndak228 Would you mind posting the link of the FB group? :)

Daughter accepted into Stern!
got email, and can see admission decision (grey button towards the right), even though main page says still considering.

I called finaid office, finaid info will be released by next friday (04/04)

Also, make sure you check your “to do” list to see if anything was missing in order to be considered for finaid.
My daughter had something incorrectly placed as “incomplete”, but I called and set it straight. Kinda afraid that setting it straight so late, will affect finaid. Finaid officer assured me that it would not be a problem, since it was their fault. But maybe the funds are already allocated…

Honestly I just want to know my financial aid, so I can know if it’s even an option to go to NYU

@rgosula 04/04 for all students or your daughter only ?

all students. and she did say by 04/04 implying it could be earlier.

"All admission decisions have now been dispatched for those students who have applied for Regular Decision admission. All decisions were sent by email though it still may take several hours before you actually receive your admission decision. **We expect financial aid awards (for those who qualified) to be available soon – likely within the hour. ** If there is any further delay, we will update our site accordingly.

If you do not receive your admission decision email by tomorrow, please do check your spam and trash folders, as our email may have been diverted through those filters. If you still have not received your email by Monday morning, please feel free to call the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at 212-998-4500 and we will share your decision over the phone. We will ask for your name and NYU ID number to release your decision over the phone and will only release decisions to students." (Bold Added)
