On NYU Albert, it says:

"Admission decisions for Regular Decision candidates will be sent sometime on April 1st after 5pm."

On NYU Albert, it says:

They said that last year, too, but then released them on the 25th:

“While the Office of Undergraduate Admissions planned to release decisions on April 1st, an executive decision was made to release decisions ahead of schedule to reduce anxiety among students who have applied for admission.”

^
Okay, cool.
I got an advance notice anyway but thanks!

What do you mean you got a notification?? Do you know the exact details of the release date? I’m so nervous.

On the site, it says “Regular Decision Update: Admissions decisions for Regular Decision applicants will be released exclusively via email. No admission decisions will be available anywhere on our website, nor will any decisions be released over the phone. Students who are admitted will also be mailed an official admission decision letter, along with a packet of materials about housing and programs in April for admitted students.”

So they’ll all be released April 1

Is this actually brand new?

No, it’s not new. But it’s not necessarily accurate either. I’m hoping they release early.

@cricket123 what do you mean by advance notice? O.o

I got an email with an early admissions notice because I had been accepted to LSP rather than CAS. Everyone else should be hearing back before or on April 1st.

do you all think April 1st is a set date? Any predictions? I’m about to go insane waiting for decisions.

I can’t sleep omg

All I can think about is NYU. WHY CAN’T THEY GIVE US AN EXACT DATE AND TIME. I’m going crazyyy.

ProcrastinArtist, where on the website does it say it will be released by email? Can you attach a link?

You do realize that you are inquiring about a thread that is 2 years old, right?
