***NYU Regular Decision Class of 2021 Discussion***

is it true that NYU has horrible financial aid?

@takinpelu Yes. They rarely meet full need, and give very few merit scholarships. Expect mostly loans if you get accepted.

@takinpelu depends on your situation. i was super low income with high stats and they gave me a full ride with no loans, and i know quite a few others who had the same happen to them.

@Swimmer1025 are you in heop?

Did anyone else get an APPLICANTS tab on top of their Albert page?

@philosphists123 I have no idea what you’re talking about, so I’m assuming no?

@philosphists123 I do not have that. How long have you had it?

@philosphists123 Do you mean the APPLICANTS tab beside the STUDENTS tab?

@SternBusiness @charcoalatey2021 It is next to STUDENTS on top of Admissions on the Albert page. It came up when I checked this morning.

@AhMesAmis yes

@philosphists123 Hmm I wonder what it means… Do any of you know if this has been an indicator in previous years?

Do you have to login to Albert to see the Students tab or no?

@philosphists123 before or after you log into Albert? Also have you clicked around in the housing application? If you clicked far enough into a housing application you automatically get an applicants and students tab in Albert

@philosphists123 I just have two options: “home” and “sign out” in the top right corner

could you post a screenshot of what it looks like?

I’m so excited for the 30th!!! :slight_smile:

Can everyone check when your account expires and whether or not you have been given an NYU email by going to home.nyu.edu, logging in and clicking on preferences?

@nyuhope17 I did click through the housing application, however, yesterday it had two things: summer 2017 and academic year 2017-2018. As of right now, I do not see academic year 2017-2018

@SternBusiness For “NYUHOME e-mail” I have “Unavailable”. My password expires 1/16/2018

If you click through the housing application you automatically get those tabs
