@drowning2021 that post on the 2020 thread was also from today I think he/she just posted in the wrong thread initially
Apparently the first wave starts this afternoon - https://twitter.com/MeetNYU/status/847433123830710272
What time is it in New York now?
Ridiculous to post false information to frighten these scary hearts. Damn!
@sabrinaaiini Would you post the twitter information here? I cannot open the webpage, unfortunately.
@sabrinaaiini It’s just past 9 am in NY right now.
“The first batch of decisions will go out this afternoon but we can’t guarantee what time a student will receive their notification.” - NYU tweet from 10 minutes ago
Actually my initials are AP good try though!!!
@webuyourselves They replied to a user asking what time the first notifications will start, -
“Notifications will start this afternoon but we can’t guarantee what time you will receive yours.”
Just called admissions to ask what time decisions would start being released and they said there’s no guarantee but it should be between 3 and 5 in your specific time zone
.
Anyone else have undergraduate application status disabled? Mine says
Graduate Application Status
(Undergraduate Application Status is disabled at this time)
@CARacing same thing happened to me
Albert is showing me that the undergraduate application status is disabled at this time and instead showing me graduate application status.
me too. mine says graduate application status (Undergraduate Application Status is disabled at this time)
they probably just disabled everyone’s application status as decisions are being released today
Yep, my Albert says the same thing but my checklist for the app is still there under the graduate admission status link
@nyuhope17 yep, same! THIS WAIT IS ACTUALLY KILLING ME THOUGH. WHY CANT THEY RELEASE IN THE MORNING. HAFLKDJSKLFJDSKLJ
@drowning2021 really? It’s past 5pm where I am and still nothing for me
i think it will be eastern standard time
@sabrinaaiini if you’re international, I don’t think the 3-5pm thing applies. because that would mean international students should’ve received their decisions a while ago since the huge time difference.
@indiahyland okay I see
