@abc32123 Whats the link to check??
did anyone get an email from an NYU rep early march about liberal studies?
@2020senior12345 What’s the link to check if you’ve been waitlisted?
The decision deadline for NYU to release is April 1. Decisions can not be released on a Sunday, and are rarely known to be released on a Monday. Decisions most likely will be released tomorrow or Saturday, at the latest.
I’m pretty sure the housing thing means nothing. We’re almost to the end of March, and decisions will come out when they come out. I think we should all just have a little patience here.
may I ask how you housing option looks?
it’s not for sure but that’s what it has me classified as in the housing portal so the link to that is housing.nyu.edu/apply
Hang in there everyone! Popping in to confirm that a lack of housing portal or FA change means nothing at all in terms of admissions. My kid had no change on anything on Albert and was admitted RD so just hang tight. You’ll know your decision SOON when they release them on Albert. I wish you all the best of luck this week and a great year next year at the school that loves you back - whether it’s NYU or elsewhere.
did you just click on deposits to do this? bc I can only submit the 1,000 fall housing reservation fee
I just scanned both the ED 1 and ED 2 forums to see if there actually was a housing correlation because I am a crazy person. From what I could tell, most people who had the academic year 2020-21 were accepted, or just didn’t post their decision, so this could definitely be a sign. However, a ton of people who did not have academic year 2020-21 were also accepted, so it isn’t as simple as saying “if you don’t have it, you didn’t get in.” Parents were also posting on the forums about how they had no changes and their kids still got in.
I am still betting that I got rejected, but don’t lose hope just because you don’t have clues!! We can’t be certain of anything for a few days!!!
@samccormack12 did you have changes to your housing portal before you got in? Plz answer
When you say you can complete it, did you actually successfully make a deposit? Because last year a lot of people also said it looked like they could make it, then one actually tried to pay and at that step she could not proceed to completion.
NYU just announced March 30 as release date for all campuses.
