Hey @Theunknown28 . I’m from Amity Intl School, Pushp Vihar, New Delhi.
Could someone chance me? I’m not confident I will get into Tandon (Mechanical Engineering):
SAT: 1510
GPA: 89.8/100 or 3.7/4.0 (school doesn’t report weighted)
I live in Tennessee if it makes a difference
I haven’t done anything groundbreaking but I have had two 25-hr-per-week part-time jobs (one only during summer) for most of high school. Does that help at all?
Thanks
I know in previous years people have mentioned housing changes in Albert. If people start to get those please post, although at this stage it is highly unlikely since it’s only January, but say starting in late February or early March start keeping an eye out.
What do you mean by “housing changes in Albert?”

Does anyone know when regular decisions come out?
It came out on March 28th last year
Does NYU publish admissions stats anywhere? (other than the CDS)
@momzilla2D they have data on their website but it seems to be using the same data as they submit to the CDS (so not entirely up to date, it’s till 2018 entry) https://www.nyu.edu/employees/resources-and-services/administrative-services/institutional-research/factbook.html
afaik the only other place is the press release. Here is last year’s - summary https://www.nyu.edu/about/giving/annual-giving/your-impact/nyu-admitted-class-of-2023.html full release https://www.nyu.edu/about/news-publications/news/2019/march/Class_of_2023_Admits.html
Number of applicants was not a huge increase over last year and looks like they are aiming for same size intake so I’d guess a marginal drop in admit rate this year, depending how many they take from ED.
Ok, thanks, @SJ2727 . I was hoping they’d have more of a breakdown by major or at least school.
Ah no, that’s the holy grail that everyone wants! Stern does publish its one separately, but also a bit out of date - 8% for class of 2022 - scroll down to “admissions” https://www.stern.nyu.edu/programs-admissions/undergraduate/why-stern/numbers
I’ve seen some other posters report that they’ve been told internally what admit rates at their schools are but Stern is the only one I’ve seen a published number for.
@Lilmelo Decisions are released on April 1st, but usually it’s a few days before. NYU tends to remain consistent with Ivy Day, which is March 26th this year, so we may hear then.
I applied RD to Tisch for Dramatic Writing. Good luck everyone!
Has anyone else here applied to Gallatin?
@Lyrinia I did!
As of yesterday, the blue box in Albert for application updates disappeared. Anyone else?
Yes.
It normally comes out on the last Thursday of march/ivy day. Last year it came out March 28th, at 4 pm for people, the last Thursday. So I would look for March 26th for this year. best of luck!
@daphnehrslop Do you think it means anything or they just don’t want people changing things around?
