NYU steinhardt summer program: what makes a star? (questions)

<p>I'm thinking of applying to several summer programs for this upcoming summer and one of them is the What Makes A Star? program offered at NYU. Has anybody ever taken this program or know what they teach you/do during it? The website is kind of vague and I haven't been able to find many "experience" posts on the internet about it.
Also, does anybody know what they're looking for in an applicant? I know they only need a recommendation from your school counselor but is that it? I can't tell if there will be short answer questions on their application (its not out yet) to see what I am like as a person...rather than what my counselor has to say about me.
I'm hoping to attend Steinhardt when I graduate for the music business program, so I'm hoping this program will give me some insight about what the school is like... but I just cannot tell!</p>

<p>Oh my goodness I actually had the same questions!! I can’t find any extra information on the program online and would also like to apply to attend this summer! I even tried emailing and calling the school a few times yet nobody seems to have information on this program in particular. I would like to get more information on it though before I apply so anybody who has attended the program in previous years or if anyone knows more about it, it would be MUCH appreciated if you could help us out and tell us more about it!</p>
