Good recs, pretty good essay I think.
Took pretty much the most rigorous schedule my school offered.
No class rank.

My GPA is low mostly because of my freshman/sophomore years. During this time, I was in the process of being diagnosed with fibromyalgia/junior rheumatoid arthritis. I was constantly in a lot of pain (muscle aches, migraines, muscle spasms) and I had horrible Bio and Chem teachers (plus I'm awful at science). I was also going through a lot of family problems. I don't want to throw myself a pity party but I do want Stern to know this was why I got low grades. If it wasn't for Bio/Chem, I'd probably have a 3.5-3.6 uw.

Chances? (Please don't be too mean) :(

Although your SAT is right on target and you have a rigorous curriculum I’d say a match since, normally, for a school to be better than a match you pretty much need to be above the median of those actually enrolled, apart from a few special schools.

Thank you! I’m really really concerned about my GPA but I’ve emphasized that NYU is my first choice (ED, wrote it in my essay, did a tour, open house, attended a class). And I think that my ECs will help me a bit hopefully
