O-Levels?

My school (in dubai) offers them and I took a few last year just for the heck of it. Do us universities even look at them? I sent certificates and everything and am begininning to wonder If it was pointless...

In the countries that accept the G.C.E. O level certification, they will also ask for the "A" levels as well, as a part of their admission criteria. The O level is equivalent to Form 5 education in Commonwealth countries, or the same as Grade 11 in the U.S, I think. In my opinion, you'll need to show something more advanced if you want to be considered in the university level, in & out of the U.S.

No lol you misunderstood. The thing is Im taking AP classes and already did my SATs and everything lol. I'm just asking if a few extra Olevels will give me some sort of edge. I got As in all of them.

It can only help..

hey when u send in O level results, do u send in photocopies of the certificates or do u get the certificate stamped by a notary?

stamped photocopied versions

i sent in without those certified stamps. damm it.

it's just a formality.. you cannot fake an O Level cert anyway..

jhl when u say stamped, do u mean stamped by a school official or by a notary public? lol i got it stapmed from a notary, not a school official

I got it stamped by my school principal, who signed on it

damn...do u think they will mind that i got it stamped by a notary public? (im in the US btw, and i couldnt get it stamped from the school official of my previous school cuz thats back in indonesia)

i have no idea....

Provided the notary public is in good standing & the seal has not expired. Notarized documents are acceptable alternatives in the courthouse so I would imagine yours will be OK.
