How do you know how many you got wrong already?

no its just what im predicting that i missed

I’d guess 74M, 73W, 78CR? I took it today too. The math seemed pretty easy, but I got 1 wrong definitely and the writing wasn’t terrible, so I’d guess a small curve on math, a little bigger one for writing. CR usually lets you 1 wrong or so and still at an 80.

i think it wasn’t too hard omitted like 2 math questions though -.-

How do you know what you need to qualify? I took it today and I’m in California and I’d reaaaaaaaaaaaaaally like to know… Thanks!

There’s a chart that usually shows which state’s qualifying number. For Cali, its usually around 220.

But this test I felt was easier than past so the bar might be set higher.

I think I got all math right except maybe 1, perfect writing maybe?, and idk lots of cr wrong… wasnt too great on cr lol

Are we allowed to discuss specific questions yet? or should we wait

To the OP,
I would say you got:

77 W, 70 M, 74 CR

That put you at 221.
You got in

For those interested in knowing about the past cutoff scores for semifinalist and commended status in each state, here is a link:

OP

You never know if your state’s cutoff will go higher… sometimes it does. So dont count on 214 being cutoff

CR: 1 or 0 missed, 0 skipped
W: 0 missed, 0 skipped
M: 0 regular missed, 3 grid-ins missed

My state cutoff was 210… just wondering if I made it.

Thanks a million!

^Of course you made it, if that is the actual score. That could possibly end up a perfect score, or at least very close.

@OP

Using last year’s Conversion chart:

73 CR
69 M
75 W

217 composite. This year, it probably won’t change more than a few points, but the curve could be more generous or less. By the looks of your predictions, you have Commended locked up. Remember: it’s nearly not the end of the world, not getting semifinalist. SAT score is so much more important.

@Faustia

If that is ur actual score, thats 80 reading, 80 writing, and maybe 75 math.

But most likely, itll be around 75 reading, 78 writing, and 73 math

Still, you got in by a long shot

Thanks :)

I’m not trolling, just curious btw…
