lol. hmm i found the cr a bit hard...math= piece of cake...but...writing...raped...

btw im from pacific. so we can start discussing now

Did you have lugubrious for a sentence completion?

i chose something else for that - i dont remember,,,

do u remember the other choices??

gloom = lugubrious

i think i shall get a 800 in math....in total 2150 or more inshaALLAH.... :D

which triangle question are u talking about?.......the trapizoid 1's answer is definitely 18

What essay topic did you get?

it was.....ummm.......what is more important in life.....fun or struggle :|

18 for trapezoid, 250 for triangle, squares and circles in a bag.

did anyone put automaton?

i put automation

Do you guys remember any of the vocab. questions or any tough writing/math questions? Or is it still too early to discuss?

lol....just discuss it bt dont quote the que

I took the test in Texas and I remember getting 4? no errors in Writing. Anyone remember how many they got?

And I thought the math wasn't too bad.

Can we post which passages we had for CR to check which one is experimental?

i had dual passage about squids and one about riding across the country on a motorcycle.....did you have those or do you think they are experimental?

anyone?????????

Hey CR was really hard. Math and writing were all right. Any idea what was the answer to the vertices question, in which pyramids were cut from the edges of a cube?
About the common thing in both passages pertaining to giant squids, first I ,too, thought that the answer was scients one, but then I didn't find any reference to scientists in the second passage so I wrote literary thing. Any idea what was the correct answer?
Also, I think my experimental section was writing. I got 2 sections of 35 questions. One has William Sisters passage. I dont remember the other one.
And what did you write in autobiography related short passage question in which they asked what do you think would be the response of the author of passage one to an approach of writing autobiography in passage 2? Was it that autobiographers rarely use that way of writing, or was it that the approach of passage 2 wpu;d improveautobiographies?
BTW I found vocabulaby a bit difficult!

I went with the scientists one because in passage two it was implied that the wait to discover the truth about the squids is more exciting than the discovery of it (will be). In other words, scientists have not found a living...There is nothing about misleading. In fact, he cites Steinbeck and endorses his argument. Then why would he have a negative opinion about writers? Misleading is an extreme word, and therefore the choice itself was extreme, but it is solely my opinion. In the first passage of the first cr section, was the answer absorbing pastime with observations? I don't remember the autobiography question you just mentioned. But I remember I chose an answer that such writing distorts the truth about the person's life or something.

Cut cube question: 24 vertices

I thought the passages were easy in cr, but the sentence completions were hard. I guessed the answers in 5 of the sentence completions and luckily 4 of them were correct. (I checked the meanings of the words after the test.) So I think pulled I it off well :D

vertices- 24

vocabs were hard....automaton, innocuous,

passages are a blur!
