42 is TOTALLY discovery. I am sure of that. When he discovered the kid he was amazed/stunned by the kid (who was learning art by himself). Later when the kids advances in art once again (by himself of course) he is amazed/stunned once again. Yes what i just said has bad englihs.

parallel structure…

how many can you get wrong and still get 800 on reading?

for the Native American one,
i disagree that it was part of their everyday lives because the ceremonies were only on an occasional basis.
i’m pretty sure i put the one that was an inclusion of complicity(or something likewise) into their lives from youth

The master admired Giotto (that was in the text). The master was surprised by Michaelangelo saying that Michaelangelo was better than him. The master also admired Michaelangelo. ADMIRATION

I was wondering, is the section that had the passage on the woman who talked about her past working as an art critic and literary critic (mentioned Willa Cather and how her literary criticism was based on the views of other critics), the EXPERIMENTAL SECTION? Seeing how in the answer sets made in this forum, the answers don’t mention this section?

Discovery VS Admiration debate still continuing?!?!?!
I think “discovery” is the right answer.
While the artist admired “THE REALISM OF THE PAINTING OF” Giotto, he did not admired Giotto the person itself… (am i being too literal?)
Some said that if you admire sb’s painting you also admire sb the person, but I don’t think so… (admiration for sb and sb’s work is different!)

Moreover, the portion was about the “discovery of genius and talented”…
Giotto’s talent was “discovered”,
and the author continues,
even if such rustic circumstances were not involved,
in the case of Michellangelo, his talent was also eventually “discovered”.
(although Michellangelo was already a pupil of the master, his true talent hadn’t yet discovered…)

Passage about:

Bengali kid with two names
Mother who was shocked at her daughter for refusing financial help from parents
Napping- its social implications and why it is normal
Why there are no famous women artists
Atlas of the Universe (space and crap)
Zen Buddhism and why the author thinks its ideas are ridiculous
Native Americans and memorization + ceremony texts

Any others?
