October 2009 SAT Critical Reading

<p>How come math deducts more points than any other section?</p>

<p>people generally do better on it, so more people are scoring very high, and they can’t give everyone 800 so they have to make the curve harsh.</p>

<p>LOL I made up a “FOREIGN NOVEL” as an example in my essay. Then I made up a fake “EXPERIENCE”. I could not think of a single book or historical reference, and time was passing by. I think it’ll work out.</p>

<p>Do you think the curve on this math will be really harsh? Or will 1 wrong still be 800?</p>

<p>I made up an experience and unfortunately I think I came off as snobbish :C Hopefully the readers only read my first 3 paragraphs and skip to my conclusion.</p>

<p>Math will probably be harsh. Though I think -1 = 800 is not impossible.</p>
