the answer to that question was B. I forget what it is though

It was 9, because you had to multiply the first equation by 3 to get 12x - 6y = 45. 5a = 45, therefore a must equal 9.

does anyone remember the one that had a systems of equation set up and asked something about infinite number of answers?? i don’t remember the options and had to guess

also, the one about gasoline, it gave like a speed and a percentage and said it varied linearly…

what was teh keisha problem

and the gasoline one-you have to find the slope and equation of line

the answers were equations, it gave another percentage value and you had to figure out the corresponding speed (or maybe it was the reverse, but i’m not quite sure)

I feel really stupid…For the log(x) +log(x+2) I somehow read it as “log(x)-log(x+2)” during the test…and put the answer choice accordingly. Wow I dont know how I did that…

Keisha … abs(w-p) or abs (p-w) =< 5. i dont remember the order of the variables.
Gasoline question … E, 9.4 - I believe
System of equations… the answer was 9 I think, I don’t quite remember.

Agree with all answers so far.

I really thought it was 3 and not 9…maybe I read the question wrong. Cause then I got 5(3) and 15, then solved the equations for y and they reduced to the same equation after using 3…sigh idk that’s two missed for me

it was definitely 9.

multiply first equation by 3, we know constant =45

so 5a=45 and a=9

samiiiilee, you probably forgot to multiply 15 by -3 = -45
which = 5a, a= 9

Oh, when you divide by a negative the inequality flips, right? So that one is x<-6?

yes suh. 10 char

do u know if the answer choice for 80sin(110)/sin(24) was C? i was rushing through so im not sure if i put the right letter

any1 wanna get a list going on confirmed answers

So did anybody see the x=3/7 and x=3/7 typo?

Lol, “Keisha”. I love the names ACT comes up with for the people in their Math problems. :p

“do you remember if there was a -1for an answer? i did not think about factoring it out, but i don’t thin kACT generally asks those kind of questions… either way, i think i did fine, but i think that it would be fine to put just 1.”

“The answer is x=-1, because the removable discontinuity is at x=1.”

Can someone remind me what this questions was?

^same question

does anyone remember the exact question for the circle question? What was it asking for again? i can’t even remember! With the probability? and what were the choices?
