@Onyxfig: It’s well-founded for sure. The two authors might have dissenting opinions, but the “most environmentalists” in Passage 1 actually describes the people who would support Passage 2. Passage 1 mentioned “most environmentalists” to later debunk what they believed; Passage 2 IS one of the “most environmentalists” who wouldn’t support Passage 1. Sorry if this sounds like a maze but I am 100% positive.

It should be at least 700, [according to past curves.](www.erikthered.com/tutor/SAT-Released-Test-Curves.pdf)

Troy/Trojan War/Homer is NOT experimental. It’s impossible for me to get two math-grid in sections (one of which is experimental) in addition to a CR experimental (I had the Troy passage). The CR section that was experimental was the section regarding some sort of a Basset Hound.

passage suggest there was disagreement over her work

^I got something else. D: What were the other choices/is this for sure the answer?
Other than that I think I might be a -1 (idiotically changed one of the vocab answers). What is the estimated curve for CR?

can someone also please explain the paradox one…

I don’t remember circling this answer bc i thought that there was a better one

any one remember this question?

^ How was the answer to the oscar wilde question a biography with factual errors? It was about him saying anyone could play the piano accurately but he did it with emotion

what were the other options to the second log road one? im trying to figure out what i put

a)

and then d) & e) were obviously wrong. but what was a?

OH NO. Wait passage 1 is more emphatic?
I think I got balanced? Was I thinking of passage 2?!
Was this one of the choices for the answer? Eeek. D:

@Harambee, I have two disagreements.

“the personal anecdote showed insight into her character” I remember nearly putting this as the answer but then changing it to something along the lines of “uses the anecdote to set up the rest of the paragraph”. The little anecdote was a way for the author to explain HOW people think as they write, not just to comment on her character.

“emphatic” Are you guys POSITIVE the question was on Passage 1 and not 2? I was like sure that it was asking about Passage 2 and thus put “balanced”.

For personal anecdote, I put something that had “reflecting on the nature of writing.”

Exactly,that’s what I put something about substance over style, the author wasn’t making a commentary on factual errors.

@naomikt, a lot of people are debating about emphatic vs. balanced. People who think the question was about passage 1 answered emphatic (myself included,) while people who think the question was about passage 2 answered balanced.

@Jayxbx;
No he was saying that he played music with emotion, but made occasional errors.
While others played music with no errors, but with no emotion as well.
& So a beautifully written biography with some factual errors would be the right answer. 100% sure.

definitely about passage 1. i remember clear as day that it was emphatic and about passage 1 otherwise i would not have put it haha

For the “funding of radio” question, why was passage 1 more empathetic? thanks!

@Harambee: Eclectic and unremitting were for two different sentence completions.

the write addresses about conflicting views

artists appreciating PBS vs people condemning it.

the author balances the two different argumetns

@bgrlqn That’s a different question than the one with “reflecting on nature of writing”, but I did put the “substance vs. style” answer for whichever question that was.
