Definitely resolute.
That essay ending was in no way “triumphant”.
& yeah I’m so weirded out by the balanced vs. emphatic one. ![]()
As for the insight into the author’s character: I didn’t put that, and I am pretty positive it wasn’t that. I also thought that one until I saw it said AUTHOR’s character, not Kael’s. But i don’t think I remember a reflection on writing being a choice though, but if it was I probably got that question wrong…does anyone remember the other choices for that question?

check out post 957 pls.

Also, some one did not answer this question before:

IS the choice with the “existing communitieis” a different one from “irreversible effects of natural ecosystems” choice or something like that?

may we have a new consolidated list svp? thanks!

Wait, I’m fairly certain eclectic and unremitting weren’t in the same question.

The one with unremitting was about a girl who trained unceasingly but still wasn’t able to win or something

**

someone confirm?

Gah I put a beautifully written poem lacking depth for the Oscar Wilde question. I interpreted what Wilde said as “anybody could play accurately (well), but I play with emotion” Gah looks like I’ll be back on December.

i also agree that the end of the essay was resolute not triumphant.

Eclectic and unremitting were two different questions. The eclectic question was a single blank that also had assiduous as an option.

i put triumphant. it is unanimous that resolute is correct?

i think i put resolute.

eclectic and assiduous were in the question about the many varied doctors and multi-specialists or whatever. I put eclectic but was it actually assiduous?

"Why is this one correct?
-probably did occur because there was no evidence against it

^I put probably did not occur because there is little literature documenting it or something to that effect."
Probably did occur is the correct answer because in the last sentence of the passage or so, the author writes that the Trojan War was an event incapable of proof or something like that.

"For the question with the three people and the author… Was the answer “She was not unique”? "
I put that all of them shied away from ornate language.

So…
triumphant vs. resolute??? any one else?
I thought the use of italics and exclamation mark made the sentence excited; the author was triumphant in getting to the clincher… But I could see resolute as being correct, too.
