Can someone make an AIM chatroom or something?

I also remember putting copious as an answer, but I had experimental CR

yeah, i remember putting that

the one about the antidote vs stimulant, is stimulant. b/c an antidote is supposed to permanently alleviate your pain but the passage insinuates that he has to keep on coming back, which makes it a stimulant becuase a stimulant temporarily catalyses or improves somehting , in this case it stimulates him to be happy. tell me if i am wrong or thought too deep

^ I think you thought too deep. Overall, an antidote just is relieves you from a burden. I I’m pretty sure you’re taking this too literally. The road is an antidote to his anger, to his sadness, to his emptiness. The road cannot be a stimulant to his anger, sadness, and emptiness, because you cannot stimulate yourself if you are angry. That would make you even more whacky.
Hopefully this makes sense?

on the “did the trojan war happen?” issue:

in my opinion, there’s no way it was E (probably happened due to lack of contradicting evidence). You have to remember that, while it may not always seem like it, Critical Reading is NOT a subjective section. There must be something in the text that supports the answer you put. Also, the question started with “Based on the information in the passage…” There is NOTHING in the text that supports the “probably did happen, because of lack of…” answer. However, there were multiple pieces in the article which did support the “probably did not happen due to no documentary evidence”:

First, there was a specific part in the intro paragraph where she is talking about Herodotus and says how at that time there was no DOCUMENTARY EVIDENCE about the Trojan War. Then, later on, she goes on about how there is little showing the Trojan War occurred besides Homer and “general” tradition, which shows how unlikely it is.

There is absolutely nowhere in the section that says that it probably occurred due to a lack of contradictory evidence. This is an inference everyone made based on one’s own thoughts and feelings, not on the article

“Thucydides conveyed that the imbalance of power worked to the benefit of some, at the expense of others.”
I believe for this question, the correct answer was the last choice E, “it questions the value of national pride in the endeavor” because the latter half of the passage showed how fear, rather than loyalty, caused the smaller nations to join in the conflict. I dont see any “expense” or loss on the part of the smaller nations
