October 2010 - International SAT

@Vialauknifv: Section 8 is experimental…

If anyone can tell the first question for each passage question, it would be appreciated :).

guys 15 or 13 1/3??? since they are both equal it should be 15 at least i think sooo…

That’s exactly what I cant remember :</p>

maybe we shall wait till ppl from HK, SG wake up to let the discussion start proper…

No 13 1/3 is correct.

Assume the manuscript is 2x pages long: Total speed = 2x/(x/10+x/20) which when solved gives 13 1/3

I got paranoid after the exam that I forgot the first questions for some of the passages, and I subsequently put the next questions answer in that circle, thus getting the majority of the CR wrong; I don’t think I have though.

It was definitely 13 and 1/3. It was a harmonic mean of 10 and 20.

just pray hard that you actually thought too much

ok what about the two no errors in the writing section…

anw, I can recall there is one passage about the Japanese daughter, one on Charlie and some sort of agricultural lecture, one about political opinion…
cant remember the first long passage and the short ones

I hardly remember that…but two sounds probable

There were definitely 2 if not three no errors in the WR.

What are answers to "Onions, pappers–circule<income><use>? E and B? I hardly remember</use></income>

I remember vaguely that it was very problematic for me to choose which ones were no errors. Did you all answered the last CR completely?

Marecki, the political one?

^
I did only sentence complition. I refused to risk because I made another passage good.

it was carrot

i answered the last CR completely but wasn’t very sure of my answers… mmm what about the passage with the guy talk about his friend charlie and how rocks feeds soil and stuff like that…

Suleyman95, I don’t remember the answers in terms of A,B,C,D,E, but I remember the first (#13) was 40 aka 10% of 400 acres. For the 14th I circled carrots.
