October 2010 - International SAT

I think he meant 12 PM -.-
Anyways, it’s officially less than 24 hours before scores come out, rejoice and panic my friends. Rejoice for the wait is finally over; panic because your wait may have been for nothing if your SAT scores suck.

Omg, I had forgotten all about the dates! EEEE! The score comes out TOMORROW? I thought it was still a couple of days till 28th! Braught down to earth with a big bang!
Right now I’m so tense about the Early stuff that I’m not even that bothered by this.

Redemption, where did you apply early?

yes the score is out tomorrow and I will probably cry -,-

Shi* Shi*. Why on the world did I log onto the SAT forum today? Life would have been so much easier if I hadn’t and I take the above comment back. I’m dead scared all of a sudden now. >:(

JHU BME FTW! :stuck_out_tongue: What about you, pixie?
I haven’t sent my application yet because I loooove to procrastinate, but I’ll get it over with tomorrow or the day after.

My time is GMT+8. Does that mean 5 pm on the 28th?

^
6pm

10char

Haiz, still I cannot resist drop in this thread.
7+ GMT? What time will the score be released in my country?
edit: Oh, so it would be a 5pm (just made the calculation)

seems like the result is going to comming out, just today…
kind of nervous for that
have to wish the best for it…

It is the 28th here.

^
liar! you’re in turkey, not in Asia.

I’m in China.

[Full Screen Countdown to Oct 28, 2010 6:00 AM in New York](<a href=“Full Screen Countdown to Oct 28, 2010 6:00 am in New York”>Full Screen Countdown to Oct 28, 2010 6:00 am in New York)

16 hours of blissfully irritating (oxymoron but Eh.) ignorance still left…

It’s going to be the 28th here in a little more than half an hour. I’m not very far at all from where you are Redemption. I’m applying early, but I’m currently married to all the colleges I want to apply early to.

I’m not worried now. Again. There was this tickle in my tummy for a few hours but it’s gone away now.
I never thought that the philosophy about “what’s going to come, will come” would make sense to me, but miraculously that seems to be the case. I’m a lot more worried about getting my application stuff together, essays to edit, yada yada.

@MajorQuest- Omg, are there people really so obsessed with their SAT scores? Other parts of the application matter too and once one has above a 2250, one really doesn’t have to worry. Very much.
But then, I’m forgetting that I’m on CC. I bet a CC’er created that! ;)

^Methinks MajorQuest is the obsessed CC’er who created the count-down watch. rofl.

arg the score is out tomorrow and the application deadline is looming ahead and here is my daily tarot card:

It is the worst period in your career. You cannot accomplish any goals. You have to be patient and wait. You even recall the struggles in the past, which causes you to lose the motivation in order to move forward in the future. Academically, a bad start will cause you to give up halfway easily; and eventually leading to bad outcomes.

Argg -,-

@pixie: I know other things in the app are important too but SAT holds it’s own gravity. You need a good SAT score (2250+, though personally I think 2300+) to actually compete…Good SAT score plus decent app trumps decent SAT score and good app…BELIEVE YOU ME…If your SAT is low/decent but not good then you must have a stellar app, and when I say stellar I mean just short of curing cancer (yes I am hyperbolic), to HAVE A GOOD MATHEMATICAL ODDS of getting into schools you dream of. You can still get in with a decent SAT and decent app, but as an engineering major I count my odds.:D

@itsmylife: Guilty as charged.

@ginnylee: Horoscope/tarot and all the other mumbo-jumbo are complete hokum…You will get what you will get.

14ish hours!! SLEEP WON’T COME EASILY…

2 more hours?

And the curve is so bad.

@MajorQuest- lol, cool down! Your nerves are obviously stretched to tenterhooks but no need to debate! We’re all worried here. As an engg. major, you should be more worried about your Subj tests.
