WRITING IMPROVING PASSAGE: it was SOME PEOPLE DO NOT THINK SO

@satepicail think so is what i put

satepicfail- i put “think so” or something like that

ahhh erik the red, always use that. of course i had the happened to have both the harshest math curve (-2 740) and harshest reading curve (-5 730) in recent times

I was annoyed at the paper cylinder one. It seemed like a question that literally relied on whether or not you knew(memorized) the Surface Area equation for a Right Cylinder. I guessed D, 525.

also silly CR question…
the debater was so ______ (clever) that even the (opponents) he outwitted congratulated him!?
IS THIS RIGHT?

Wait, I don’t think it was moreover. Wasn’t it “skateboarding by comparison, …” because the next passage was in direct contrast

@bear111 Yes the original sentence was fine. Also was the answer to the one of the identifying sentence errors a preposition mistake? It involved the word recognition. Also was the answer to one the identifying sentence errors a infinitive/gerund confusion? It had I think “to begin”. I thought it should have been “beginning”.

@above. No it was not skateboard in comparison because one of the last questions for the passage was which sentence did not belong in the essay. The answer to that question was the sentence involving the injuries which was the sentence right above it in the previous paragraph.

According to the link I put october tests seem to have the most difficulty so there should be a good curve

i put clever opponent too

collaborate should have been corroborate. i dont remember anything about begin or beginning tho

Anybody remember a question, I think #18, about a cone, asking for like filtration rate? Is that one experimental?

was the word actually clever? I think it was some tricky word meaning clever. Regardless, that’s what I put

According to my chem teacher, collegeboard maybe making the October test harder so that seniors will take it again. This maybe false, but still a plausible idea because collegeboard likes money.

Cone filtration = experimental

So far only one that I know I got wrong… I found that I comprehended all the passages thoroughly this time… and avoided over-interpretation etc…

The rocket review was probably the key to my change within 18 hours of testing haha…

Ok I see It would be 1024
What was the one about sweaters and scarves and the probability of them not matching?

was the mondays question in the experimental math

@dfire28: THAT DOESN’T MAKE SENSE. if it’s harder, everyone will do worse… and the curve will be more generous. it’s a tautology.

Walden by Thoreau is actually about nature. Wouldn’t have known this if I didn’t take a practice SAT with the same exact book in one of the passages.
