October 2011 SAT Math International

What did you get for the problem after the cubes? It was right similar 3-4 triangle, find a side? 36, 40, etc. were answers?

Oh okay thanks. phew

I don’t remember what I remember though since that rectangle we already have the area and he want the two triangles area then I got the big triangle area - the area of the rectangle.

I am sure its right.

Hey dont confuse a international thread with an US one

Man could someone give me a concrete answer for the question after the rectangle one? With the two triangles? I got 36 T_T

Could you tell me the sides because I don’t remember it and the rectangle area they mentioned it in the exam.

As I said : Generic math -> international
: angelface and challenged -> US
dont confuse things people

No, I’m certainly international… Trust me.

phew i thought it was US haha

Yeah I think I got either 36 or 40 I forgot which I put. I switched between them at least once I know.

Does anyone know which math section was epxerimental??? helppppppp

@Mazorak

It was 36.

pretty sure the reading section was the experimental. There were 4 on my test

that number 14 on the 16 question section. It was the one with the 45/45 triangle, and the 30/60/90 triangle. (This triangle had hypotoneuse of 8rad3. Did anyone else get 12 for the answer?

about that (2,k) f(x)>k question, it could have been any value of x between 0 and 2.

@Glaedr: thanks, haha. Phew

What about the blocks question? I really rushed on that one, got 70.

Also do you guys remember the problem about the hotel price being same and finding out the total? That question was almost an exact repeat of a practice sat o_o

hey guys i really need a quick reply, was the one with the cube pattern, 64 or 63?? and what were the choices??
and i think i made a silly mistake at the beginning of a section, was the books question 19.98, what about the circle that is tangent to the y axis, was the point nearest to the x axis 1??
what was the one with the triangles in the rectangle, was x=25
i remember from the grid ins 1 14 5/3 3/5 0 1350 25 25 16 70
and there was one with 36 or 40 i put 36, the question asked for af, anybody confirm, please guys i need a reply fast, am in a quagmire here, stress is devouring me…
what about the median of the first 101 odd numbers, i put 101, and for the one before it i put 8 for the rectangle inside the circle, please confirm guys…

Yeah I remember putting 0 and getting annoyed that 0 couldn’t be filled in the first grid-in and switched it to 1. haha

I’m so annoyed that the two answers I changed for god knows what reason are wrong (66 instead of 70 and 40 instead of 36). Maybe I can call CB and have them swam the 4 points from one onto the other!

But I feel good about the other sections, but the curve on math can be brutal and I really wanted an 800 (always got one on prac). Ah well.

@Mazorak

yep that was 70

Damn I got it as 3 !!!.
