Student W, Solid sphere was the answer.

i also chose picture 2 since the string was closer between the 2 spheres.

For the alleles one I thought that you did some what have to have a knowledge of biology to get it.. you needed to know the Aa AA dominant recessive thing.. so for me it was fair but idk about the ppl who havent taken biology..

Oh and I got gene D too.

limiting reactant = NO
the equation was 2NO + O2 > 2NO2
2 parts NO for every 1 part of O2, equal amount in the reaction, so there was excess of O2
right?

yep thats right^

hated the science and definitely got below 30. I hated the Biology thing. I had Bio in 9th grade (I'm a senior now) and I hated it and do not remember much of it. So yeah..I think I only got like 1 out the 5 questions, the other 4 I just guessed.

wow, i didn't spent much time on the mosquito one and i thought they were saying something about the controlled variable so i put "same tents"

how long is it going to take for the scores to come out?

nov 12 at the earliest

november 12

one mole of one gas occupies the same volume of one mole of any other gas,
so NO and O2 combine to form NO2, so it would increase
then as then combines to form NO2 the volume would decrease, as you only have one two moles of NO2, whereas before you has 3 moles of gas (one of NO and 2 of O2)

The inertia one with the 2 objects connected with the string im almost positive was the one with the longer string because the farther the mass is from the point where its rotating, the higher the rotational inertia. Think of trying to balance like a ruler with a mass on it on your hand, if the mass is at the top it takes a lot longer for it to start falling since it has greater inertia than if it was at the bottom where your hand ie the point its going to rotate around when it falls is.

^ that's what I thought ...I ran out of time but I tried my luck and guessed at this question using my knowledge from physics...

:(

Balaylay --- I thought the same thing.... however, I thought I read on the test that the moment of inertia is something like 10^-3 * m or something like that so it would be like, the negative of what you're thinking

also, think of figure skaters -- when they pull their arms closer to their body, they spin faster -- so, their inertia would be greater.

Moment of inertia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia <-- skim that, I am pretty sure I'm right

I am not an expert at physics, but I think I logic'ed my way through this one.

Conclusion: I think the answer is the smaller length ball-and-strings.

I also selected the shorter string, but i think i'm wrong.:(

''So as a general rule, for two objects with the same total mass, the object with more of the mass located further from the axis will have a greater moment of inertia.''

Moment of inertia

Dangit!!! I think you guys are right.... :(

But I could swear that the equation for I given on the page showed it to be the smaller string n balls

Well, I think I got a -2 on this section :( ..... 34/35 most likely.

I'm not sure about the equation you're talking about. But I'm sure it was the larger one. The figure skater one is the opposite. They go faster when their arms are drawn in because the inertia decreases allowing the angular momentum, and therefore angular velocity to increase.

hey for the one about like student x, y,z, was it student Y?

Do of you guys remember specifically which letter those answers were? (the ones with the figure skater/inertia, etc.) Thanks a lot

PS: I am bored... the answer was student W

wait, there was a figure skater question?

i think that was a different versoin
