October ACT 2009

i already signed up for the September ACT but ill probably want to take the October one as well. Im going to be a senior this fall and im wondering if taking the ACT (w/ writing) in october is too late for regular college admission?

thanks for the help!

I was recently told that it wasn’t. I have the same situation except I’m not taking it in Sept.

No, it’s not too late for regular admission.

^^^ thanks for the reply. can others confirm? i want to take it in oct as well b/c i dont think an extra test opportunity can hurt me.

It isn’t to late for regular admission, but it is probably a little risky to depend on for the early decision/action admissions.

Late October ACT is too late for me so I’ll be taking the SAT in early October. It’s not too late for regular college admission, but for universities that have ED/EA usually getting your application in early may increase your chances somewhat of a acceptance.

i missed the deadline and have to do standy registration i really really really need to take the october act on the 24th can i still take it???

kobe, just be sure to go to a test center that will have open desks and you can go as a standby…simple as that.

October is more than likely never too late.
