October ACT: Predictions vs. Actual

Post your predicted score and your actual score here. Good luck to everyone--we'll see how well you can guess, CC!! :)

Prediction: 31

Actual: 38

Prediction: 34

Actual: the lim f(x) = 1/(x^2) as x approaches 0.....hehe

woah impressive you guys I only got a 3, predicted a 36

hookem,
too bad infinty isnt a score

^ That's what you think, grasshopper. ;)

did you find the super-extra-secret-bonus-question?

Predicted: 35/36, Actual: 34

Didn't study : (

Prediction: 28-31
Actual: 26

Good first try!

Actual 30
Predicted 31-32

This stinks. Needed the 32 for a scholarship and I would have had it if it wasn't for the science. Got a 36 on the practice test and a 23 on the real thing. Gotta love it. What a waste of the only Saturday I've had off in ages.

Predicted: 32
Actual:33
Cant believe it. thought I went down
Oh well now I have a super score of 34.

Predicted: 31-33

Actual: 35

siiiigh

Prediction: 34
Actual: 33

Reason? 36 Math, 34 Reading, 34 English, 29 Science. Good gravy. All I needed was a 30+.....and I couldn't get it. Thanks ACT.

Question: is the ACT similar to the SAT in that colleges look at some sections more heavily than others?

^ Science prevented me from my target score too, but oh well. i'm done with the ACT now.

Actual:

E: 32
M: 36
R: 30
S:29
C: 32

vs. a prediction of 31-34

^ whoa guitarman! we're Math and Science buddies haha

34.25 ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Predicted:33

Actual:
C:35

E:35
M:33 (My frowny face)
E: 34
S:36 (Why did everybody say they did so bad on this XD )

I'm pleased enough!

hookem168 - haha yeah it looks like we are.

Don't you just hate it when you're .25 away from another composite point? Happens to me almost every time. Fortunately it didn't happen this time, but my first choice school superscores and now I have a superscore of 32.25. That just mildly annoys me sometimes.

Oh and btw congrats to everyone one your great scores.

hmmm science sucked

I'm upset since my math, reading, and english scores averaged to well over my target of a 34 but my 26 science brought it to a 33. Oh well...it's still a decent score.
