Hi, Do most kids stay on campus during October Break? Since S will need to fly home for Thanksgiving and Christmas I am thinking maybe he should stay put for October. (Also, we will be there in Sept. for family weekend!)
What is the norm on this?
A fair number stay put - as it is basically a long weekend. Gives them a chance to catch up on sleep, get some wirk done, use facilities in a less crowded setting. I would not be too concerned about having him stay.
Have to agree that most stay in October, the “fake break” in January is when 90% of the kids leave
Except for girls who stay in January for sorority rush I believe.
