October SAT Results Thread: 4 Days to go!

Well, after a grueling two weeks, the results for the SAT are almost here! Only 4 Days to go!
Anyone else waiting in anticipation?

Going out of my mind!

Just got to keep your mind on something else, Monday Night Football, Presidential Debate . . . anything. If you watch the clock, you will torture yourself. Best of luck!

This is when I start to panic. I’ve been pretty confident about exceeding my target score over the past two weeks but it seems like since two or three days ago my hopes for a good score have been dimming faster and faster…I’ve started to justify being happy with scoring under what goal was. Waiting for my score last may wasnt that bad because I knew that I’d be able to retake it but this time I only have one more shot if my score sucks

@glido too bad those two events are on the same day =/ What am I gonna do on Tuesday and Wednesday? Put myself in a comma? Lol

This feeling is driving me crazy!

3 Days to go now! Anyone catch the Jets and Patriots Game?

I’m freaking out…what’s worse is my mom is waking up with me (a shocker because she usually sleeps in) before I leave for school to see my score…
What a great supplement to breakfast.

@Antara:

My grandparents keep asking me what I got and are much more excited to see my scores than I am. I’m probably just not gonna say anything if the scores aren’t over 2000, so hopefully they’ll forget.

Lol, I know what you mean. All my relatives and even my friends’ parents are asking me. I’m at the point where I just want to know what I got and move on with life haha.

Yeah, I’ve definitely been counting down. I’ve got the presidential debate, Monday Night Football, and plenty of college applications/homework to keep me occupied. I’ll just wake up at 4 am on Thursday, check scores, go for a run (potentially to clear my mind, but hopefully a celebration run), shower, eat, and go to school…I’ve kinda planned this out.

I was confident about my scores for the first few days after taking the SAT, but now my anxiety has eaten away at that and I’m afraid that my score actually decreased from the last time. I had a dream the other night that my CR score was a 390! But I’m still excited to see.

I’ve finished the Common app, and 1 of the 2 non common app schools so I don’t have much college stuff left, so this is a nerve-wracking last section of college application work. I decided to not set a target score, and not study my life away, so I’m not worried about reaching a target. I wish that they could just get them out now! Any chance they’ll get them out early haha?

I’m so nervous! For me, this score will be the deciding factor of whether I get rejected, deferred, or accepted.

So guys, who’s gonna stay up? I might (west coast), since I still need to do essays and I write best late at night.

I won’t try to stay up, but every time I end up waking up about every half hour thinking the scores have come out. And when I’m not waking up and checking my phone I’m dreaming about waking up and checking my phone. I swear, I’ve already had reoccurring dreams about failing sat physics.

But anyways, I’m on the easy coast so ill try to get some sleep… Key word: try.

I’m going to stay up for sure. That’s one reason why I love living on the west coast when test results come out. Also, I don’t have school on Friday, so there is no reason not to do it!!

What time will they be posted, midnight?

I’m not going to wait up. Get some sleep, have a good day the next day instead of being tired from waiting until 1 or 2 haha.

Let’s move this discussion over to this thread: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/1406164-countdown-october-2012-sat-results.html

No need to have two separate threads.

@glido: Scores are out around 5AM EST on Thursday. Check the link above for a countdown clock.
