October SAT Subject Tests and Early Decision

Hello!

I’m applying early decision to Northwestern, as well as non-restrictive early action to a couple other schools, but I’m taking the October SAT Subject Tests. On many colleges’ websites, they state that they accept scores from even the November round of SATs. My question is: Do they mean that we can send our scores after we see them and decide that we like them, or do we have to arrange for the scores to be sent immediately after they become available, even if this means that we cannot view them before sending?

Another question: I do not have to worry about this for the September ACT, correct? I believe the scores will be available early enough for me to see them before sending and they will still be on time.

Thanks!

I’m not positive but I think you should be able to view your October scores a couple of days before the application deadline (I’m assuming it’s November 1) so I think as long as you submit them before then you’re all set. November scores would definitely have to be sent before you see your scores and the September ACT scores will be available long before you have to submit your app so don’t worry about that.
