Hey, everyone. :) I'm a junior starting to look more seriously into my college search. I visited Swarthmore a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it. What do you think my chances would be there? Also, what other schools do you think would be relatively good bets?

Basics: I'm a Caucasian female student from Maryland who will not be seeking financial aid. Neither of my parents are legacies.

GPA: 3.85 unweighted (I'm at a really tough private school; no weighted GPAs)

Classes: Honors math in 9th and 10th grades, non-AP calculus in 11th, honors chemistry in 10th, AP biology in 11th, APUSH in 11th
(Expecting to take AP US Gov, AP Environmental Science or Physics, AP Comparative World Politics in 12th)

No AP scores yet; my school doesn't really let underclassmen take APs.

Class rank: My school doesn't assign ranks.

PSAT: 232 (80 CR, 72 M, 80 W), so should definitely qualify for National Merit

SAT: 2370 (800 CR, 780 M, 790 W, 12e)

SAT 2: 760 in Math 2C; expecting to take Bio E, US History, Literature in June and feeling confident that I will score fairly well

Extracurriculars: editor-in-chief of school paper (huge time commitment and involved for whole high school career), member of animal welfare club (2 years), member of genocide awareness club (2 years), Harvard Model Congress participant (1 year), involved in research project at Georgetown University

Other information: I plan to kill my essays. I am a very strong writer.

Thank you for your time!
