Off campus housing costs vs dorm costs

<p>My son lives in an off campus house just a block or so from North Campus, but there are a number of apartment buildings in the area as well. amtc, I think you are referring to the small commercial area on Noyes.</p>

<p>In terms of finding the off campus house, one of my son’s roommates did the search. I think they all knew the boys living in the house before them.</p>

<p>amtc, it does sound like the Noyes shopping area. The grocery store was probably D & D Finer Foods, which is right under the El.</p>
