Off-topic, bro

Yeah pretty cheesy too. Haha I feel like I’m reading out of seventeen magazine.

Amen to that. Who wants to discuss music? That always brings out a lot of discussion.

Yeah I checked out blonde redhead. They have a pretty cool sound, thanks for the recommendation.

OK, OK, let’s see…

helloel: Something outdoorsy. Picnic outside at sunset. Or going to the lake to stargaze.
98bee: Something to connect you with your inner child. Build a Bear, or a quirky cafe where you can still have fun, like Rainforest Cafe or Dave and Busters. Then, he’ll win you a big stuffed animal that costs lots of tickets.
Anaychi: Something suave/sophisticated. A jazz club? A Brahms concerto?
Retrohippo: Oh, goodness – probably a rock concert. Then, dinner at a ‘modern’ restaurant; Asian fusion or something. Followed by a night of dancing, then driving around without apparent directions and getting home at 3 in the morning.

Just did. Sleek. I like it.

Duly noted.

So many good shows are coming to town! Three in one night that I’d love to go to. Arcade Fire, I think, and a few others…

Lol. Build a bear for 98beebee. I laughed. But that would be a cute date for her though.

I kinda like coldplay, he’s awesome.

You know it’s true.

So many shows coming to my town! Omg! I have so much to choose from! Arcade fire! The antlers! Dum dum girls! Tv on the radio!

Just kidding. I live in Kentucky. I envy all of you.

lol @ Kentucky. It’s probably be easy for you to travel to Bonnaroo, though. That’s the king of all music festivals.

Also: +5 respect points for mentioning TV on the Radio and Dum Dum Girls.

Wow, so much action on this thread. Retrohippo, you were dead-on with the colleges. Harvard and MIT are two of my favorite schools. I guess I’m sufficiently snobby after all.

Thank you guys for mentioning Animal Collective. “My Girls” is my new favorite song.

Anay, do you have a last.fm? You have good taste.

@Studious: I love “My Girls”, but how can you not mention “Bluish” or “In the Flowers”?

Now thinking about it, build a bear would be adorable <3 It’s just so cute!

Helloel, I sympathize. I really, really, really want to see Florence + the Machine, Ingrid Michaelson, or Imogen Heap, but BUT BUT sadly they’re not touring near me anytime soon. Aww, shucks.

Smorgasbord, I only just started listening to them! But I will check those songs out. Listening to “Fireworks” right now.

Nah, I stopped using last.fm a few years ago. Do you use Spotify?

Studious: You’re welcome. :D

Hey studiousmaximus! Looks like you missed out on all the girly fun, don’t you want us to guess your perfect date? Lol.

I love ‘bluish’ by them right now!

I do, but I don’t have an account through Facebook.

@Studious: When you said “Fireworks”, I automatically thought of Katy Perry and Mike Tompkins.

SO GOOD.

Hahahaha I think studiousmaximus likes pretty, delicate girls who are quiet but intense. The girls he likes have a sense of humor, but are also very witty and intelligent.

Anay, I’m having such a hard time with the spotify haha. Last.fm is so much better!

Yeah, spotify froze my computer.

Was my description of studious’s ideal girl accurate?
