Yes! I have so much to tell.

I’ve been meaning to get into that show for a while now. I kept hearing about the Katy Perry episode…

My town is starting to enforce a curfew for high schoolers after every sports event from now on. Apparently, for the past few weeks there have been brawls after every basketball game that my high school has had against one of the neighboring schools at the local McDonalds (it’s happened about 8 times). Last night got so bad, that management had riot police come in and arrest oodles of kids. Hurrah for teenage idiocy.

Wow. So, that really is that serious? Also, HIMYM seems like a great, funny show.

Y’all started up again. Hey guys.

@smorgasbord: I bought the soundtrack too! I listen to it regularly; it’s so good. I really liked Good Will Hunting as well. I think Matt Damon is a great actor. Have any of you seen Doubt? It’s got some serious acting talent. Viola Davis is fantastic.

@Studious: “Hand Covers Bruise” is the perfect thing to listen to when you’re feeling down. It describes exactly how you feel.

I really want to see that movie. It seems more… intelligent than a lot of movies coming out right now.

@Anay: That’s silly. But on the bright side, you high school is in the ranks with JMU for party rocking!

Those types of threads start too many arguments, apparently.

Cool story, bro.

I’m not a bro! I think the girl username explains it all.

@smorgasbord In Motion is my favorite track to work to. Most of the songs off of the soundtrack work well for specific scenarios.

I love listening to it in that context. It gives the task a sense of urgency, like something big is about to go down.

I know! When I first heard the track in the movie, it felt slightly exhilarating.

Oh, and on college admissions… I’m freaking out. I mean, I have some time before college applications, but they seem even more stressful than B.S. apps. I just know I want to shoot for the highest school I can get into- doesn’t have to be an ivy, just a really challenging and stimulating place.

What schools are you looking at, 98?

I’m not starting apps yet- I think I’m the youngest poster here on High School Life. It’s just, with all the Asian expectations and dinner party stories of some freaking amazing woman whose three kids went to Stanford, Princeton, and Yale… it’s stressing. Are you in junior/senior year?

Oh yeah, and this kid who got accepted to harvard early action sigh

98, I guess you didn’t see my post. Here, I’ll repost it:

98beebee: just curious but what was the specific reason for the other thread getting deleted? Like what exactly, was it giving away appearance or talking about each other or what? Just wondering so I know what we can/can’t bring up on this thread

Threads about other posters, even if a game, are not permitted on College Confidential. These threads too easily deteriorate into insults. Do not post it again.

Ohh, I see. But were we really talking about other people that weren’t the above poster? Oh yeah, I guess we were haha.
