Off-topic, bro

yeah I have tuesday off as well as the rest of the week. I was going to go out today but I changed my mind. Do you have the rest of the week off as well?

Yays for having the entire week off! I’m back on the road, an hour and a half away from UNC-CH, I freakin hate car trips.

Have fun! Road trips= always a good excuse for junk food. That’s like, the only good thing about them.

Awmg I’ve had so much bad food the past 2 days. Nothing like some good beef jerky to pass the time away.

Yeah, I hate them too, mostly because the seats in my parents’ cars aren’t very comfortable.

Road trip naps and sleeping are so uncomfortable. What do you guys do when you’re bored?

Well, I basically listen to music. The whole time.

yeah, listen to music…

I’m guessing you guys are bored?

cc is getting so slow lately.

^ It’ll pick up late March/early April when most of the acceptances come out.

sup vccccccc

But seriously, the parents cafe is much more active than HSL.

I’m leaving HSL, too boring. Here I come parents!

Just kidding, I guess I’ll get some homework out of the way though.

^does that require pregnancy? #thatwouldsuck

Doing my app for SIMR today so maybe it’s a good thing you guys won’t distract me. But I’m not gonna get in anyway so…

I lurked around the parents cafe a bit, and everything there annoys me. I hate how they refer to their sons and daughters as S and D. All the parents do is brag about their children too, which isn’t too different from HSL I guess.

I saw this one thread about ‘is your child a late bloomer’ and they were talking about their kids’ love lives and I was just thinking how embarrassed I would be if my mom or dad ever posted about me in there, haha.

I mean it’s not like my parents know all that much, but still.

Alwaysleah: don’t say that! I’ve heard that program is really selective though.

951, I agree 100%. I find it incredibly annoying as well when they refer to their children as S and D. I have yet to find one parent on CC not bragging about his or her “S/D”, too!

I would hate it if my parents talked about my life on the internet…

^agree with dfree there, would be totally embarrassing lol

I read that whole thing! Oh my god I can’t even imagine… Me and my parents don’t talk about that stuff though, thankfully. I just call everyone a friend and theyre happy to be in their blissful state of ignorance.

Helloel- yeah it has like a 5% acceptance rate. What the efff.

Lol, DS = dearest son, i read once. DD and DS.
