Time to go be yelled at by my boss while dealing with 15 squirming children and attempting to teach them math. Wooo love my job.

I’d never have the patience to tutor. Babysitting two kids is the most I can handle. More power to you, then!

Believe me, I don’t either. ■■■.

I’m sure it pays better than 15 bucks for two and a half hours. Hello, that’s so below minimum wage.

$15 for 2 1/2 hrs?! That’s ridiculous! Babysitters in my town are overpaid. $60 for 3 hours is not uncommon.

Lucky you. Of course, my employer is a close family friend, so that may explain the awful hourly rate. xD

I get $8 minus taxes. The kids pay so much but the owner takes it all of course. $15 is ridiculous though. Even if they are a family friend I don’t think it would be unreasonable to ask for more.

$15 for 2.5 hours O_O.
$60 per 3 hours seems reasonable to me, considering that the babysitter is nervous most of the time cause he/she know they are responsible and taking up time for whining kids.

Actually, the way a lot of babysitting gigs work is the parents leave at like 7:30, the kids go to sleep at 8:30, and the babysitter watches tv for 2 more hours. I don’t babysit, but that’s what people tell me.

^So I assume you’re happier than all us babysitters. Heh.

Babysitters get payed sooo well. I would definitely do it if I liked being around little kids a ton.

^^ Over the summer I was a camp counselor for first graders. I got paid about $6 an hour (under minimum wage through some bs loophole). I know your pain, bro.

The camp counselors at my camp all seemed so miserable and ready to go home, lol. Now I know why.

^^^Lololol.

In other news, I was just told to “get the eff out of the classroom” in psych. My teacher is a class act, I tell you.

aww! well, did you do anything wrong?

yeah, leah, what happened?

^^^Lolz I realize that was a ditzy post. Of course not everyone who babysits likes kids. But it’s more that I’m not great with kids.

I was sitting in my seat in the back corner of the room looking at flash cards for my vocab test the next period. He went on a rant about how I think I’m “too good” for the class or something. Funny thing is that there were about 5 other kids studying as well. This is the third time he’s flipped out at me… I literally don’t understand. He gets mad at me for this stuff but no one else.

Wow, that must suck, but don’t feel too bad about it though

Did you actually leave the class?
