Offer of the College Question

So decisions are released on Friday, so it doesn’t matter much at this point, but I’m curious about what people wrote about for their Offer of the College Essay.

My daughter chose: “To lose yourself in generous enthusiasms and cooperate with others for common ends."
She told a story about putting on a class play with her classmates at her Waldorf school.

I think mine could have been stronger, but I wrote the “to make hosts of friends… leaders in all walks of life” and told the story of how making new friends catalyzed my academic growth in high school.
